1. Hourly rate

based on project complexity
R300-R500 per hour
  • R500 – R800: A4 (1 concept, 3 revisions, print-ready)
  • R1,000 – R1,200: A2 - A1 size, 1–2 concepts, 3 revisions, print-ready
  • R1,200 – R1,500: Print advert (Full page or half page, 1 concept, 3 revisions, print-ready)

2. CI / Branding Design

based on project complexity
  • R3,000 to R6,000: Small/basic CI / branding for a startup / micro-business (logo + business card + basic stationery)
  • R6,000 to R12,000: More complete CI (logo + stationery + social media assets + possibly guidelines)
Standard

Packages consists of: 

  • Logo design (concepts + revisions)
  • Typography & colour palette selection
  • Stationery / collateral: business cards, letterheads, email signatures
  • Social media branding (avatar, banners)
  • Brand guideline documents (how the logo is used, fonts, etc)
  • Sometimes additional items: company profile, signage, mockups, etc

4. Brochures & booklets

rates are determined by the difficulty of the task
Charged per brochure or booklet
  • R1,350 – R2,500: Tri-fold / Z-fold brochure (A4, 2 concepts, 3 revisions, print-ready)
  • R2,500 – R4,000: Multi-page brochure (up to 8 pages, includes 2 concepts for cover + layout styles, 3 revisions)
  • R5,500 – R10,000: Booklet design (8–20 pages, includes 2 concepts for cover & internal pages, 3 revisions)

5. Catalogues

Pricing depends on the scope / complexity of the work
  • From R12,000: Product catalogue (20–40 pages, grid-based product layouts, cover design, typography & styles, 2 revision rounds)
  • Custom quote – Large product catalogue (40+ pages, includes indexing, tables, and template system for ongoing updates)
Standard

6. Annual reports & corporate publications

Fee adjusts according to job requirements
  • R18,000 – R25,000 – Annual Report (up to 40 pages, includes cover design, content layout, charts, tables, and infographics, 2 revision rounds)

7. Custom quote for reports

Pricing determined by the difficulty of the task
  • Complex reports (40+ pages, financial tables, data-driven infographics, extended stakeholder sections)

8. Supporting services

rate is based on the level of difficulty involved
Charged per packs or sets
  • R1,100 – R1,950: Business stationery (Letterhead, Invoice Template, Folder, etc., per item)
  • R950 – R1,500: Social Media banners (per platform, 1 concept, 2 revisions, web-ready)
  • R1,900 – R4,500: Digital ads (static or animated, multiple sizes, 1 concept, 3 revisions)

Notes

All projects include agreed concepts, revisions, and delivery of print-ready or digital files. Extra changes are billed at R350/hour. Work is created using licensed Adobe Creative Suite, with final files supplied in PDF, JPG, PNG, or open formats as agreed. Master source files remain the property of Grid and Flow Studio unless otherwise arranged.
